+ Vaccinations

Students

The CCP does not have a vaccine mandate for students. However we strongly reccomend that everyone attending the CCP be fully vaccinated.

Staff

All staff at the Centre for Creative Photography are fully vaccinated. This is a CCP policy, however everybody was already vaccinated before the policy was developed. We are so proud that everyone did their bit without being asked. Thanks Team!

Vaccination Side Effects

We allow all staff and students to take time off class/work if they are having a COVID vaccination or if they are suffering side effects from the vaccination. Please let us know how we can assist you if you require taking a day out of study or work.

+ Mask Wearing

Students and visitors

All students and visitors (including studio clients etc) must wear a mask when on campus unless the individual has an exemption from mask wearing.

Communication during mask wearing for hard of hearing

As per COVID-19 directives lecturers may take their mask off while teaching to better allow communication to students. Some lecturers may still choose to wear a mask.

If you are hard of hearing or finding it hard to communicate, please let us know. Some of our classrooms are fitted with bluetooth and live closed captioning to allow for voice to be transmitted to headphones, TV screens and hearing aids if needed.

So if masks are making it difficult to hear your lecturer we are so very happy to help you with our hearing assist technology.

+ Covid Safe Check-in

Everyone entering the building must do a covid safe check-in either at front door or with one of the many QR codes throughout the building.

+ What to do if you are feeling sick

Stay home and let us know you won't be in class. We are a small school and a COVID outbreak could put our our student base at significant risk. Most of our classes have video recordings available in Google Classroom if you need to catch up on what was missed. If not, chat to your lecturer and we are always happy to see how we can assist you.

+ Lockdowns

In the case of a lockdown in South Australia, we always do our best to convert to online learning for the duration of the lockdown. In some cases this may not be possible.
In the event of a lockdown, don't worry about contacting us, we will contact you via email or phone to update you on the path forward for your specific class.
