Carclew's 2023 Fellowships: Applications now open

We are excited to announce that Carclew Fellowships are now OPEN!

Carclew is committed to broadcasting this message out to artists far and wide, including those who may be operating outside of the usual study or formal networks.

Carclew's Fellowship Program offers financial support to emerging artists and arts workers aged 26 years or under, to pitch a bespoke professional development proposal for:

  • Arts career building

  • Skills development

  • Exploring new art form practice, methods and techniques

  • Research towards creative development

Applicants practicing in all creative mediums (as well as the technical, administration and production areas) can request financial support of up to $10,000.

You could choose one year of post-graduate study, or participate in workshops, masterclasses, summer schools, mentorships, internships, attachments and residencies, or dedicate time to develop professional writing or simply immerse yourself in a different and challenging environment to be exposed to innovation and cutting-edge ideas.

Carclew is committed to driving reconciliation through employment and training opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. A minimum of one Fellowship will be awarded to an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicant.
