Introductory Courses

This course will introduce students to digital imaging concepts like bit depth, file systems, colour spaces, digital manipulation processes like curves, levels, and layers.

You don’t have to have completed these courses to undertake Camera Portfolio 2. Though some of the skills contained in them can come in handy. We would generally recommend undertaking this class at least around halfway through the Certificate IV so that you have begun to establish your photographic style.

This course runs over two terms, students are required to enrol in and complete both terms to gain this qualification.
In this course you organise a group exhibition from start to finish complete with sponsorships, gallery space, budgeting and print finishing.

There are no specific prerequisites for this class, but it is recommended that students enrol in this subject towards the end of their Certificate IV, or as part of your Diploma

This is the ultimate Introduction to Photography course. Learn from real life professional photographers in this hands-on fundamentals of Digital SLR and Mirrorless course.
Total beginners are welcome even if you haven’t turned on a camera before.
>Class prerequisites there are no formal prerequisites, but students should have a basic level of computer literacy. If you do not have any previous experience with photoshop we recommend taking the WORKSHOP Photoshop Basics first.
