Weekly Inspiration: Associated Press

Last Friday, Associated Press photographers arrived in Bergamo, Brescia, and Rome to photograph doctors and nurses on short breaks from working in ICU. Italy had faced the most COVID 19 fatalities in one day since the beginning of the virus breakout.

Photographed against the green backdrop of the wards they were working in, wearing flimsy protective gear it is sobering and moving to see the emotion and exhaustion of these heroic professionals.

Our sincerest shout out to our own front line workers, both in the medical profession and in other essential services. We know that members of our own CCP community, whether they are students, or parents of students, partners and so on, are putting in work to keep us all safe and looked after. Thank you so much for your efforts, which are often behind the scenes.
