DARKROOM CLUB

The CCP runs a darkroom social club for keen b&w film photographers to make interesting art together. This is totally separate from CCP course work, so is open to CCP students, former students, and non-CCP friends. Basic darkroom experience is essential.

The club is a time and place to practice and talk about darkroom techniques and projects of your own and of others. This will be a social group without any formal teaching, ideal for graduates and non-students, and of course any passionate darkroom practitioner. Anybody with an interest in anything film are welcome to come. It's open to experimental darkroom projects, straight technical works, and everything in between. CCP will provide the darkroom and chemistry, and participants will provide your own film and paper. CCP has a stock of basic Ilford paper and film for sale. Hope you can join us and create some interesting pieces!

*Please note that basic darkroom experience is essential.

**Members must be able to use the equipment and chemistry safely and knowledgeably. This is a social club, run on a volunteer basis, with no formal teaching.

The club runs between 5.30-9.30 Wednesday nights during term. Classes finish at 10pm so please allow plenty of time to dry your prints and pack up the darkroom. Frequency is weekly during Term 3 2024 starting July 24th.

The club is $150 per term.
